It takes approximately 2.5-3 hours to get to Amed and costs around USD 40-55 or IDR 600.000 to IDR 800.000. It will be better to book your trip by local apps like Go-Jek or Grab. Along your journey you will pampered by beautiful panoramic landscape. - You can also go to Amed by local bus. There are some local shuttle bus companies that has direct trip from popular tourist areas such as Kuta, Ubud, Sanur to Amed. It costs relatively cheaper than private car rental, about USD 10-20 (IDR 150.000-IDR 300.000). And it takes 3-4 hours to get to Amed from your starting point.
